The Darjeeling Train

@Shadyglow that’s a Metre gauge train on a track installed in Colonial times maybe a century back by the British in india. Goes from the plains to the hill station of Darjeeling. It’s a heritage toy train today and still operates multiple trips. Coal changed to diesel for the loco.
Tourists love it. Locals prefer the road which is mostly alongside and much faster.
