Taking the TGV home!

There are around 13 trains per day running between Vannes and Paris, which usually take 3 hours 20 minutes to complete the 249 miles (400 km) journey. It can take as little as 2 hours 34 minutes on the fastest services though, if you want to get there as quickly as possible. As soon as you board the train, you'll be able to make yourself comfortable and enjoy the journey as there are direct services available. During your journey, you're likely to be travelling with TGV, SNCF or OUIGO, as these are the main train operators on this route.

I carried a small backpack yesterday morning on the journey down, as there was no need of lots of clothes for what was a sky-clad meeting of my group. Just a change of clothes, cotton shorts and a sleeveless tee shirt, my soap, toothbrush, toothpaste and other necessary toiletries. My ipad, phone, id card, wallet and purse. A book to read on the train. Simple requirements, and light equipment, no more! My journey requirements, just a snack and two bottles of mineral water.
