Why would anybody waste their time using Uber or Lyft to work?

That’s a lot of money to spend going to work and back! Why don’t you lazy, bogus asses learn to drive or take the bus?! Why waste like $3000 while you can have your own car?
A coworker takes Uber to work everyday and it costs her about $20-17 dollars a ride to work and back. Depending on the time and how much it is. She lives 20-25 minutes away from our job.

Plenty of people do not have or cannot afford to have their own transport. Some people do not want a car. Some people do not want a drivers license.

@SW-User so LAME at least I drive. What kind of person doesn’t want a drivers license or a car?! What kind of world do we live in?! So lazy and dependent! My parents always told us to stop depending on then and find our own way growing up. So I learned to drive at 15 and got my license at 16. Like NORMAL PEOPLE

@PetiteJulie01 Plenty of people don't need a license or want to get one, but they have to because they can't get around as an adult any other way. If you don't need a license you don't have to get one. I used to live in Sydney and public transport there is plentiful (trains, buses, ferries).

Why is is 'normal' to get a drivers license during high school?

@SW-User because that’s how it was. My older brother got his license when he was 18. Also where my parents used to live, they had no choice but to learn to drive. My dad was 17 and my mom was 20.
