DEI hiring and poor training.

That can't be answered properly without knowing from proper investigation all the individual circumstances of all four accidents.

Presumably all the air transport safety laws and practices are still as normal.

It may be that nothing is "going on" beyond a terrible co-incidence; but no-one, particularly the bereaved, is served by those trying to use the accidents for party-politics before the investigators have determined the cause of each crash.

Only then can the US Government determine if there have been any deleterious political, economic or legal influences on flying safety, and the appropriate actions if so.

Just the usual winter chaos in transportation. We're missing a ninety car deathly pile up in the snow on I-95, aren't we?

Timeline:

January 20: FAA director Mike Whitaker, forced out — one year into his 5 year term — after facing relentless criticism from Musk for not approving SpaceX missions quickly enough

January 21: Air Traffic Controller hiring frozen

January 22: Aviation Safety Advisory Committee disbanded

January 28: Buyout/retirement demand sent to existing employees

January 29: First American mid-air collision in 16 years

January 30: White House addresses the nation: Don-Old J Tяump blames DEI, Joe Biden, and Barack Obama for the tragic accident.

January 31: Another plane, a small medical Learjet 55 with six people on board, crashed in Philadelphia killing seven people.

Under the Biden administration the airports were forced to hire and promote through DEI. Now we are paying for that tragedy with our lives. Sadly these people are not properly trained. They don't have the experience and it shows.

It will all be fixed when president Must has the system re-designed. LOL
