Nope. It’s their job to pack it securely for shipping. If it’s a because that the shipping company is at fault, then it’s dealt with differently through insurance but that is most often still on the company to deal with, not the customer.

depends on how broken and how much it costs. If I can fix it then it's whatever but if I spent a lot of money and i cant fix it I'd send pics and tell them and maybe they'll send me a new one

@DeluxedEdition it was cash on delivery so I didn't pay. But I also felt bad for the loss the small business has to face.
