It's no more than before, they're just in a different order. I think it's better! *ducks behind couch! 😅

@Mindfulness So, where the hell is the POST button that actually works?
@ChipmunkErnie i haven't had any issues, do you often struggle to find the button? 🤭😂
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@Mindfulness Only here.

@Mindfulness Unless, of course, you wanted to post in Uncategorized with the Random mood since the "skip categorization" button has vanished gone. In that case there's a whole lot more clicking and potentially typing.

@Mindfulness I was able to skip categorisation before, now I can't, so it's worse for me

@SW-User just click on anything, I always have! 😂 Maybe if the admins see posts constantly in the wring categories it will prompt them to fix it.

@Mindfulness People did post in wrong categories a lot when the categories/group system was introduced a good while back. So they essentially started threatening with how posting in the wrong group was a breach of TOS, was pretty much seen as actively being a nuisance to the community, and to my understanding could incur punishment. They did eventually provide us with the uncategorized functionality and skip categorization button to mitigate it somewhat, but still... it's clear what their stance was on seeing "posts constantly in the wrong categories".
@PirateMonkeyCabinet I've never had a warning. 🤷‍♂️

@PirateMonkeyCabinet If they want people to use the "correct" groups, how about a simply checklist, no pictures, no first this then that, a simple one-step checklist.

And I do wonder how many people actually notice what category a post is in when they read it -- I surely don't.

@ChipmunkErnie Oh, I totally agree with you. It should be simpler and the current way is cumbersome at best. I've even tried making suggestions on simplifying the process, but it is as always just completely ignored.

It should be all on one page, it should have been made so it takes up less physical space (the mood selection square is such a waste of space), and they could have allowed users to pick a default category/mood. That is, when posting a new post, unless you actively change the group/mood it'll automatically pick your default category/mood without you having to lift a finger.

I usually don't notice the category either. I was active in a post yesterday and was surprised when the poster said they had just selected a random one, having a chuckle when I saw what category it was posted in.

@Mindfulness Probably not had people report your posts for miscategorization yet. 🤣
@PirateMonkeyCabinet I haven't upset the right people yet.
PirateMonkeyCabinet · 36-40, M
@Mindfulness May it be because you've been ducking behind the couch?
@PirateMonkeyCabinet another possibility. 🤣

@PirateMonkeyCabinet I don't even know what category this post is in, if I'm going to start getting warnings then I'm going to be deleting, this for me is supposed to be fun, not a full time job😂😂😂😂

@SW-User Your post is in:
Lifestyle & Interests > Cars & Transportation > Package Delivery

😂🤣
