One of my brothers was in a motorcycle accident yesterday

He's only 22. It's his 3rd motorcycle accident already & this one was on the freeway. He's okay, meaning he'll heal & survive but he broke his hip & a rib. He's got bad road rash of course.

He just got back from Taiwan less than a month ago & he immediately bought that motorcycle. It's his 3rd one. He crashed his first one twice & he still has his 2nd one. This one he bought because it's the new Yamaha R9 & he really wanted it. It was a really nice bike. But ever since he first started riding, I always have this fear of getting a call that something happened to him. This is already the 3rd time it's happened & it scares the crap out of me. I know I'm just big bro & I can't tell him what to do but FUCK man it scares me 😭 each accident has only gotten worse. If I had to bet, I'd bet he's gonna hop on a bike again when he heals. But maaaaaan it really scares me 😔

Of course you can,and should. He's free to ignore your concerns of course but family members have responsibilities to one another; you to him, and he to you.

Luckily, he hasnt killed anyone yet.

He needs help. If he won't listen, ask him to write out his will, funeral arrangements, etc. Maybe that'll wake him up.

If not, I feel for you. Remember though. These are HIS choices if he ends up dying or going to prison.

yeah they are not the safest and some really ride them like maniacs too which doesn't help .. it's bad enough even when one drives safely among other bad drivers 😬
