Ninja's are sexy but hard on the knees. I really wanted one but sat on one at the motorcycle show and I knew it was not for me. Maybe go sit on one if you haven't yet and see if it fits. One of my favourite looking bikes is the KTM Duke, but again not for me.
This is an excellent starter bike, my xpro 250cc. Basically Kawasaki stopped making Ninjas under 400, so another company picked it up using the same engine and body from the same manufacturers. You can order them 99% assembled online, it will be delivered in a box with a metal frame.

@YoMomma I understand. I have been around them all my life including 4 wheelers and others so I think that's why I have always wanted one. Anytime my dad is going to go ride I ask to go.
@Hannahjay14 seems like going from 4 wheels to 2 is a natural progression. and if you can ride a 4 wheeler (even to school) seems like you're ready for a bike.
