Anyone can become a doordash driver... That means that "anyone" is touching your food.

Why would you overpay a company to have a random person pick up and deliver your food? Am I missing something or what? I don't understand it.

The nearest they should be to the food is the carton or bag, and that should be safe. If not, don't use that food shop.

If this means cooked take-away food I don't need use deliveries anyway, as there are Chinese shops, a fish-and-chip shop and a pizza shop all within a few minutes' walk from home. Besides, I don't buy take-away foods very often anyway.
