Is God trying to speak to me?
Two near misses with traffic accidents this weekend.
Yesterday, I stepped to cross the road at red lights, one car stopped on the right waiting to turn right, the inner lane was clear. Just down at the bus stop a bus was picking up passengers. A car came speeding past the bus and undertook the waiting car to go across the closed lights devoid of concern for pedestrians and other drivers. I saw him out of the corner of my eye and just scuttled out of the way from being hit, with a couple of others.
Today, on my way to church, a driver mounted the curb to undertake someone I could only presume he had been trying to get past in frustration. I stepped inside the line of my walking to be safe from potential impact. This driver was on his phone whilst driving, which is illegal in England.
God is telling me something!
