What were gas prices when you first started driving?
When I got my first driver's license in 1994, gas was $1.15. If we adjust that for inflation, it would be $2.26 in 2022 dollars.

50p a gallon in 77 £8 a gallon now in uk complained about price when it went up to 50p and never stopped !!
