Why isn't there a cross country challenge between an electric car and an ICE car?

The rules would be simple.

You start in Miami Florida and you end in Vancouver Washington.

The contestants will be family's of four. The kids will be no younger than tweens.

The race happens in January.

You can make all the stops you want, but if you stop to refuel, you must stay for 30 minutes.

You pick your route.

Hotels are paid for, but when you stop for rest every day, you must stay off the road for 10 hours for rest and safety

First to arrive in Vancouver wins 50 grand.

This isn't on tv because the ICE car would win by days!
