Lots of weird and wonderful 'microcars' were around in the early part of my childhood, as well as the familiar Isettas and Heinkels. The near equivalent of Egon Brütsch in the UK was Laurie Bond, who came up with this front wheel drive microcar. The engine turned with the front wheel. A cleaner design survived into the Sixties, and some even had (gosh!🥁🥁🥁) two cylinders instead of one.
