I have always loved the look of the British cars from the 1950's & 60's, a lot of the smaller makers and their cars are all but forgotten now. Even the cars that once ruled the roads of Britain like the Cortina, Capri, Escort, Viva and even the Mini classic are becoming a rare site on the roads these days. With my posts in this group i hope to kindle some memories for car lovers and highlight some of the beautiful and not so beautiful short lived marques as well as some of the classics from the period. Starting of course with the stunning E-Type Jaguar
The earliest and purest iteration of the E-Type, with the faired headlights and slim bumpers. Unfortunately those early ones didn't get synchromesh on first gear!
