Mine? I would immediately change them. But it's not mine; it's alarmingly close to everyone else's. I'm working on a multipronged campaign to get the current plague dealt with; the fact that human eyes dilate under low-light conditions, making ultrabright headlights a danger to everyone on AND adjacent to the roads seems to be lost on most police officers (and imperial guardsmen, back in Illinois), who don't realize that such endangerment is already against the law, since it's operating an unsafe vehicle. Current laws generally don't refer to headlight brightness, but power consumption, and someone realized that LED bulbs use far, far less power, so now we've got people using million-candlepower bulbs that would only be appropriate in the benthic abyss on every street in the country.
What makes it all the more frustrating is when they're behind you, and you have no choice but to slow down until they pass you, since such people, lacking either concern for others or basic self-awareness, never stop to think whether THEY are causing a problem; the fact that driving at 35 miles per hour on the interstate is SAFER than continuing on should be all the evidence needed to stop this nonsense, but I guess that's too much to ask.
It's part of the same mentality that sees roundabouts being put up on public roads in the US, or Daylight Saving Time being extended, instead of purged from the planet with fire and sword.

The police should issue tickets for unsafe driving as soon as they see it. People will eventually change the headlights back to Spot instead of Flood (like all LED lights are).
