The gear shift isn't really blocking the path from the passenger seat to the driver seat like most cars.

Also you actually have to hit a button while driving to go from drive to reverse or neutral since it has paddle shifters.

So there's no danger that she could accidentally ruin the transmission by leaning up on the shifter accidentally.

Also the A/C is really powerful and it is very roomy for a 2 seat roadster.

I don't know how long it will be but when that happens this car is perfect for that.
