1958 Chevy Impala. Oh the good old days. Had bench seats too.

@Baremine oh yeah...the front seats were bench seats and the shift was on the column. You could easily get a blow job while driving and while at the drive-in theatre, have sex

@Midlifemale I had a 61 Impala. Traded it for a 63 Ford Galaxy convertible. Been driving mostly Fords ever since. Oh for cars with bench seats and no headrests.

@Baremine Those were the days...yes.
My first car was a 63 Pontiac Catalina convertible
@Baremine I learned to drive on a 60 Chevy Impala convertible - 3 on the column, 283 engine (one of the best Chevrolet ever made, in my opinion). No seat belts or headrests. Roman red. It was so easy to work on - lots of room under the hood. Changing points, plugs and condenser was a breeze.

@PhoenixPhail yeah, my car had no seat belts either or any of my dad's cars.
And we had a station wagon and the rear seats faced to the back window !!!
There was no federal regulations back then....
Open the taillight and add gas...right next to the open wires..lol.

@Midlifemale we had real cars back then and people had to know how to drive.
@Midlifemale We had a station wagon with the rear seat facing the back window, too. Unfortunately for my brothers and me, it was convenient for my dad when we were making too much noise. He would pull the car over to the side of the road, lower the back window and beat us with his belt. It was horrible being trapped like that. We learned to keep our mouths shut. I also learned to hate that back seat.
@Baremine YES! Rather than all this automatic stuff that drives the car for you.
