Older the car, easier it is. Some new cars, you have to loosen transmission line mounts, so you can move them out the way, air clearer, radiator mounts, remove battery, windshield washer fluid tank, and ton more crap just to reach the starter.
Old cars, 15 minutes or less. Today's cars can take a whole weekend to swap out

@hunkalove Have never seen the one on my Mazda...I think they buried it somewhere on top of the engine.
