Well the 21st of Nov marked...
one month since I was rear-ended at a stoplight. Both my daughter and I had symptoms of concussion and whiplash, but with no medical insurance, we didn't get medical help. My daughter healed fairly quickly from her injuries, but it took me longer. I decided at one point to stop driving. There was a member here who encouraged me to wait until the one-month mark( That is how long they say it takes to heal from a concussion) before making that a permanent decision, and I am glad he did. My brain has healed, and the one incident of my mind glitching a week after the accident is the only time it has happened. 👍
Yesterday, I had to go get my daughter from work in the middle of the day. Traffic was heavier at that time of day, but I had no problem at all. So, I guess I will not give up driving, and I am kinda happy about that...🙂
This is just one more blessing I am grateful for this year. My mind healed from the 4th or 5th concussion I have gotten during my life, and I was kinda doubting that it would. 🙂
