Anyone know specifically what issue this would be with a 2018 Honda CRV?

Car has trouble starting without a jump, seems to get worse with more frequent driving and turning the engine on/off.

Power steering (EPS, not fluid powered) struggles at low speeds and well as stereo cutting out and random warning lights flashing at the same time as the aforementioned power steering issue.

The battery tested fine but then again that was at Walmart so we never know.

I guess it could be the alternator failing to charge the battery.

Any ideas?

I have no money for an inspection. 😆

Part stores around here will check batter and alternator for free. Do they charge up there?
@SwampFlower I think there's a place here that will check them for free. I'll have to check when I get a chance.

How old is your battery?
TurtlePink · 22-25, F
@SinlessOnslaught ok so he said to clean it and check for tightness and then start your car again
@TurtlePink Yeah I'll clean it.

@SinlessOnslaught clean the cable ends and the terminals and make sure they are snug and when you clean them disconnect the negative first then the positive and use water and baking soda with an old tooth brush if that doesn’t help he thinks your battery might just be weak or it could be damaged

You might have a loose terminal or connection somewhere. Id check the wiring and connections at your battery and at your alternator. Id start there
