For all of you electric car owners, how is the charge in your batteries holding up in this cold weather?

Are you still getting the same distance out of a charge or are your batteries draining faster due to the cold weather?

I believe this is why many Americans are shunning buying electric cars. There's not enough electric posts around to keep them charged. Not even at apartment buildings yet. When they start installing those, then I think their sales will boom. Nobody wants to run out of electricity for their car in the middle of a trip to anywhere!

@LadyGrace I still remember Kamala was asked a question about that. It was from a lady who lived in an apartment in DC. She asked where they were supposed to charge their cars. Kamala responded with they are adding charging stations in the suburbs. Lol!!! 🤣 So on a low battery you are supposed to drive an hour to get out of the city to a charging station. Lol!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@Musicman Exactly!! 😂
@Musicman And I wonder how much juice that thing sucks up when you have the heater on or the radio haha

@LadyGrace And cold weather zaps batteries too. I heard a guy from Montana talking and he said he only got half a normal battery usage in the winter. ☹
@Musicman that's why I mentioned the heater. Yep I believe it about that guy.
@Musicman it's 52° in Illinois. That's crazy!! 🤭

@LadyGrace He said they were driving to the next town and ran out of charge half way. It was on full charge when they left.

@LadyGrace We are 79 here right now 🙂
@Musicman oh my!!! That's awful and to think if you had small kids in the car in the middle of winter ...oh!!!

@LadyGrace I know. Then you have to call a tow truck to come get you. And you are sitting there with no heat waiting for the tow truck.
@Musicman well I'm sure, given your location. Haha my sister is always teasing me and bragging deliberately because it's always warm where she's at in Arizona year-round and we just laugh. I always say rub it in, rub it in! lol
@Musicman I've done that before. That's miserable haha

@LadyGrace I might do that to our friends back in Virginia in the winter. 😁
