Bars leak for fixing leaks in automotive
There are other brands. I’m sure that Work. I’ve used bars leak and it works. Mechanics will tell you not to use it. Just like fix a flat and other products like fix a flat.
With bars leak they claim I don’t use it because it clogs. Yes, it can clog. But only if there is already a clog problem. They as in mechanics say that they are not permanent. In reality really nothing is permanent. If you buy a new radiator, eventually, it will fail anyway. But the stuff can buy you more time in an older car. Stead of putting lots of money into an old car. Same with fix a flat it works now they tell you that you should take it right away to a mechanic to fix the tire properly. I happen to be mechanically inclined, so that helps a lot. I have left the stuff in tires until the tire was worn out naturally. But they tell you to take it to a mechanic because they can’t have that kind of stuff their responsibility. I watched a video about the guy talking about he wouldn’t use Barr’s leak. But of course, he’s a real mechanic with all the tools and a nice big garage to work on stuff. I too can do that. I have replaced radiators and water pumps. His excuse was, it’s a sealed system and he wouldn’t use it. Yeah bars leak seals up the system if it’s not sealed up totally anymore. This is me just stating my personal opinion on facts that I know from Experience.
