Who has the most miles on their car and still thinks it is a bargin to own and drive?

I am facing a situation where I need to replace my old car and need some practical advice.

I had a 2006 Ford F-150 truck with 265,000 miles. It ran great! I finally upgraded to a 2011 with 75,000 miles. We had a 20 year old Lincoln Town Car. When it started costing us $3000 a year to keep it on the road we let it go and bought a brand new Lincoln MKX.
