Antifreeze I get the concentrated not the 50/50

My area recommends 50/50. But if at anytime you must add some and all you got is water then you don’t have to worry about not having enough antifreeze in the system. Yes they say water is better at getting out the heat out of the system. Maybe so just add some. Many years ago I believe many people ran strait antifreeze. But now I guess that is not good. But you must have some antifreeze for your air conditioning to work properly they say.

straight antifreeze will freeze faster than when mixed with water . i use straight antifreeze and mix with a gal of distilled water .I always by concentrate its cheaper when mixing my self.

@olderuncle944 I know. And I think they have people thinking that it must be 50/50 mix. They don’t say that but I think that is what people believe. I would rather have some extra antifreeze in there. Like may 70/30 or 60/40. When I was in Autobody school Vo-tech the instructor mentioned our area should be 60/40.

I don’t have any idea. I drive electric and no need for antifreeze
