How often do you get an oil change?

Sometimes I wonder if they actually change the oil at all, and simply turn the light off.

I usually do every 5000 miles, per my car manual.

But I wonder if it can actually go longer

I read somewhere that says full synthetic can go up to 15000 miles, though I wouldn't wait that long

Start using a synthetic blend oil, depending on a couple of factors, like city stop start driving or highway driving also plays into how often you should change your oil, hwy every 10k city every 7k. BTW what car do you own

We've found that these cars are very reliable when everything works right.

My last Camry, a 97, had 255k on it, but I sold it cause I'd gotten the V6 and wasn't really driving it anymore.
