I remember riding in one as a kid, my uncle was a mega car buff and was always taking my older brothers and me to car shows and to the quarter mile about an hour south of Portland and to the Portland International Speedway in Delta Park near the Columbia River in North Portland, where they used to race the GI Joe's Brickyard 200 with NASCAR for years.
