I actually used to do some stuff myself. Growing up with two brothers and my Dad fixing cars, I learned. I could do a tune-up, change wires, filters, fuses, plugs, gap plugs, etc. I miss cars being simpler. I'm lucky I know where to add the oil now.

@Oster1 Thank you. I think every woman should learn the basics, even if she never opens the hood herself. A lot of unscrupulous mechanics still assume women know nothing about cars, and try to cheat them.

@Northerner Oh, the plugs still need to be gapped. There are no condensers and points to install and set, though.
