Facel Vega 'Excellence', 1960. FACEL was an acronym which stood for Forges et Ateliers de Construction d'Eure et Loire. They were suppliers of bodies to other manufacturers, but in 1955 the luxury 'Vega' car brand (named after the star) was introduced, and continued for a decade.
