We need to design a department for treating animals hit by cars.

I understand that wild animals aren't on the list of priorities right now. But it's our own fault that earlier I saw a bird with a half-smashed body trying and failing to get out of the road and all I could do was drive past it like everyone else. We've prostituted cars so much that they're now a necessity that kills things. So our dumb asses should cover the cost. Hire veterinarians to respond to injured animals on the road. It's just one more of many stupid things that our cars hurt.

Ridiculous? You don't want to pay for it? Get in line. You're already paying costs for many, many, pointless things like this. Don't be shocked now if you weren't before.
