Ford Escort......no thanks I owned one.
Classic Mini.....nahh, they were British until BMW bought them out. Cute cars, but too small. Unsure of their reliability. But the ones made today by BMW have a bad reputation and depreciate at a higher rate than other cars.
Ford Capri...... nothing special about it, but they were cute when they were produced.
Peugeot......no, it's French. They have never made a decent car
Austin Allegro........no.....it's British, not a good reputation for cars. Although an MGB or a Triumph would be nice.
Jaguar........yes, it's British but it's a cool car and it had a good reputation for styling (not reliability) until Ford bought it in the 90's. A lot of movie starts drove them. It's the only car on your list that might actually increase in value.
