Longshot but The stereo in my car is messed up. It only plays sound in the back and it won't let me increase or decrease volume.

I've only had this car a few months. Anyone know if it's just a setting I am super annoyed and can't figure it out. Grrrr SUBARU STARLINK Harmon Kardon speakers

Possibly several things could cause this, I wonder if there is dirt/grime built up on one or more controls on the unit?? Could also be bad wiring it’s all grounded somewhere, loose ground wires can make car stereos and other electronics behave strangely.
