What kinds of car features do you remember from the past?

Oh man, I still remember those annoying ass buzzers. Sounds like a swarm of angry bees 🤭.

I miss my stickshift.😩 Automatic transmissions are boring.

@graphite you are at the age where your knee would not be able to take pushing in the clutch over and over. my grandpa had to get rid of his manual transmission pickup truck because of that and get an automatic transmission. 🎄

@trackboy At least I can drive one, unlike the 20somethings. There's been a bunch of cases of failed carjackings because the thieves couldn't drive a stick. (My last manual transmission vehicle, retired because of a blown head gasket, had more than 200,000 miles on the clutch. They're supposed to give out at 75,000 but not with my expert use.)
@graphite My current car has a manual. I'm loving it 😁.

@latinbutterfly I still want to get another one when the time is right. There's not too many left - some Chevy Sparks, which can't get out of their own way, a few Hondas.

@graphite Yeah. Stick shifts. Or floor shifts. When I was in high school our principal gave me the keys to his new car (YES. Crazy.) and told me to go get something for him. I got in and there was no gear shift stick. It took me a bit to figure out those little buttons with letters on them. Embarrassing.
