I Love The Idea Of Electric Cars

I honestly do but I think the uk government is living in cloud kookoo land if they think they can stop the sale of fossil fuel cars in just 15 years .The infrastructure alone to cope with everyone having electric cars is going to take longer than 15 years to build .Every home would need a charging point every car park would need charging points in every space .The cost will go into billions and if they got the infrastructure in place where is the extra electric going to come from .Can you imagine the spike in demand in evenings when everyone got home from work as well as the overall demand already in the evenings .Their already not got enough supply if we had to go completely green I could go on .I honestly dont think the government has honestly thought this through .

True.

But in reality a way to massively cut the number of cars on the road. I can't see me being able to afford one so it'll cut car ownership massively. I think that's a hidden part of the agenda to save spending a fortune on new road developments but will public transport improve and increase capacity to cope?

Could u imagine your electric bill if u have to charge your car or truck every few day's. I just don't see everyone with a electric car or truck not everyone can just buy a new car that will cost more. Some people just like to buy older car's or trucks

Yeah but if they plan for 15 years, they may start doing something in 50.
