Bikes for disabled people part 2

In my previous thread I showed a pic of the bike I am going to buy and here is the same pic again this time with a rain protection mounted on the frontbox pic 1. and there is another style of this rain protection shown in pic 2. I am going to buy either both or that rain protection shown in pic 2. Both these are accessories to this cargobike. There is also a parcel holder also as an accessory that is mounted above the back wheel wich I also will buy to mount my bike bags on see pic 3. This bikebags you can buy from amazon.com or swedish amazon (amazon.se).

The battery is well protected from rain and hidden under one of the two benches.

they do come in electric also
Mathias · 51-55, M
@markinkansas I know. This IS an electric bike.
markinkansas · 61-69, M
@Mathias good . just wanted to help.. if you are having problems with balance and strength . i am thinking of a elec bike my self. found one that would do 70 miles at 30 miles a hour.. i still have good balance.. we are getting older.. best to ya
markinkansas · 61-69, M
@Mathias i think i would want the cargo behind me so i could see the road better
Mathias · 51-55, M
@markinkansas Thanks...this bike will do 6 swedish miles on a fully charged battery.
markinkansas · 61-69, M
@Mathias for in town that will work
Mathias · 51-55, M
@markinkansas For me the most important thing when choose electric cargo bikes is where the motor is placed...back, middle or front. This bike has a centermotor and thats the best and strongest motor.
markinkansas · 61-69, M
@Mathias lrt us know how it goes .
Mathias · 51-55, M
@markinkansas It will. Our rules in sweden says that an electric bike must not have more than 250Watts power in the motor. If it has than its NOT an electric bike.
Mathias · 51-55, M
@markinkansas How do you mean?
markinkansas · 61-69, M
@Mathias and i was looking at this one
Electric Bike, 26" Fat Tire E Bike, 1500W Motor, 48V 14.5Ah Removable Electric Bike for Adults, 72 Miles & 28 mph, Electric Bicycle with 7 Speed and Dual Suspension
markinkansas · 61-69, M
@Mathiasyou asked How do you mean?
if this was vision of road . question .the cargo holder will block where the front tire is
Mathias · 51-55, M
@markinkansas Then its not an electric bike if it has more power than 250Watts.
Mathias · 51-55, M
@markinkansas The front tyres are places beside the cargo holder and will make the bike wide in front.
markinkansas · 61-69, M
@Mathias sorry misspoke vision of the road will be blocked by the cargo holder just a thought .. let us know when ya get the bike and drive it a few time..
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Mathias I think I see what you mean - vehicle type classification by motor power - so what would it be classed as?
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Mathias "Miles"? I thought you used kilometres! :-) How long is a "Swedish Mile", though?
Mathias · 51-55, M
@ArishMell One swedish mile is about 1000 kilometers but in the manual to the electric bike it stands 40-60 kilometers without heavy loads and driving at flat bikeroads..
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@Mathias Thankyou! Oo-er: that's a long mile!

Average 50km on flat roads, lightly loaded... Useful for local journeys, commuting perhaps.
