I Like to Ride My Bike

Summer outdoor riding keeps me sane, honestly.

Over the last several years, I have gotten back into bike riding. When it's warmer than 70 degrees(f) outside, you'll find me most days on my bike, somewhere on a bike trail in the city I live in. The hotter, the better for me.

Over time I started to compete with myself on 10 & 20 mile rides. I keep my times and have a log for every competitive ride I have to measure my improvement. Nerdy, I know, but I gauge myself as I get older to see if I can continue to improve.

I definitely ride as hard as I can each time and try to log 1,000+ miles every summer. So far I haven't been less than 1,100 miles.

The trails here are excellent, and give you the feel of being in the woods, even though I'm in the city.

When the weather cools down, it's indoors on a wind trainer in front of the TV. lol. Gotta keep in shape somehow, right?

@skmokisses That's nice of you to say. Amazing? I'm not sure, but it keeps me thin, toned and sane. :)
