I don't, although I know two people with personal registration plates on their cars. One uses the shape of the characters to "spell" the name of a club to which he belongs; the other has his three initials incorporated in the entire number.

I can't see the point other than simple vanity. I think it's fairly complicated and expensive to obtain, and to transfer if you replace the car; but the Driver & Vehicle Licencing Agency seems to have found it quite a lucrative trade.

Understandable @ArishMell

I don't, but funny story, well I found it amused at the time.
My brother bought a car and the licence plate was similar to our surname, so he changed how he spelled his surname on Facebook. I called him out on it and he said it was what they called him when he was in the army. So they spelled out his surname when talking to him?! 🤣🤣🤣

KVL234X.
I changed my name to match my existing plate to save money. Still working on my new signature.
FeetAreFantastic · 46-50, MVIP
No, that's not possible in my country. But if it were, mine would read 69-FEET
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
It's not legal by any means to put this one on my car, but if I ever move to California, it's going on the front plate:
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire Too many characters for California plates. Seven characters max.

I've had a personalized California plate. And the front must match the back.

They are getting stricter on the matching because of street light cameras. They have got you coming and going with opposing cameras.
No thnx I think that’s absolutely cringe.
scorpiolovedeep · 51-55, M
Why cringe ?
Its a form of identity , don't you think?

@FreeLittleBird

I don't have that for two reasons
1. In my country it is not possible.
2. It is always a typical kind of folks with that.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Did so once long ago. Won't say what it was. It's directly related to my last name.
