Right now, new models will not last as long as the older, non computer controlled ones. Thats just a simple durability fact. Anything built after 2015 to 2018 will cost more to replace the screen controls and CVT set up than the car is worth. So you will be forced to buy a replacement or walk.. Keeping your older model in good shape with servicing and mainatenance is just good sense. Particularly if you have a more exotic brand, where you may need to adopt an engineering team with specialised equipment.😷
