beginning to realize i will soon be needing a truck for light hauling brush etc. looking at honda ridgeline. no turbo for me!!

I thought you said you wanted a truck! Try a real truck. Ford, Dodge/Ram or GMC/Chevy.

@AthrillatheHunt I am not a big fan of GM. My preference is Ford. I have a Dodge 2500 with a 5.7 hemi because the price was right and I needed a truck. That hemi isn't as forgiving as a Ford.

@AthrillatheHunt oh it's a pulling sob. Cat 5 hitch from the factory. It had 206 thousand when I bought it. Negative things. If a Ford has a quart of oil it's a happy engine. If that hemi is a quart low it gets cranky to say the least.
For $3800 I can't complain. At my age I wasn't about to buy a new one.
