you don't need to go to trade school to be a mechanic
I think people are dumb when they do that.
I learned how to become a mechanic literally just trying to fix cheap cars to get around town. Then I read a book called Automotive Mechanics in my free time for a year or so. I took some ASE certification exams on my own time which were also not that costly.
Then I just went around and told people I had 3 ASE certs and worked as a mechanic for several years excluding my time as a mechanic in the army.
I don't know why people go to trade school to be a mechanic. Literally if I had to do it again I would just go buy a cheap car, save money, read the book, fix the car, and then take the exams. 🤷♂🤷♂🤷♂🤷♂
I know all the secrets of life now I guess.
