Driving the EV yesterday

My wifes car is an EV, super fun to drive. No gears, instant pickup, can accelerate at any speed. Has regenerative braking too so almost never need to put my foot on the brake.
Driving down a 4 lane road there was a guy in a gas car on my right. We would stop at the light and when it went green I would pull ahead of him easily. Its funny to see him stomp on it and me still pull away.
At the third light he went for it, spinning his tires and trying to catch up.
My EV was set on Energy mode, which is the slowest. Have never needed to set it to Sport mode. I should try that just to see how much faster it is. It is already fast enough.
