Finding a good used AFFORDABLE vehicle where I live is next to impossible

Fort Myers sucks getting anything done concerning cars. Even private owners go through dealers. There's a couple of dealers on Fowler but they're so racist I'll never step foot in there. Dealers love to screw you over anyway so the only option left, beings there's no access here to local paper listings is craigslist. And even there they're either way outdated or have the crazies. What a shit hole of a place. This is pissing me off enough to say f*** fort Myers and this whole shit hole and just keep the regal going.
