Count me out on modern cars

Yeah they look nice and modern yeah they're all wheel drive yeah the mileage is better yeah they have more power......
But...........
Even mechanics know the truth. And I won't work on them at all nor would I own one. They are disposable. Designed to be flipped within 5 years. All computer integrated. Stiff, large wheels and very little rubber, thin stiff seats, slipped down frontward. Front end removal for a headlight replacement, too many sensors, overpriced experimental and expensive to maintain. They'll end up in the wrecking yard 3 times over before paid off. Nah. I don't care how I look to other people by what I drive. I'm so over that nonsensical bullshit. Mark my words, turbos shorten engine lifespans.

I agree. They're not transportation anymore they're office desks on wheels made out of plastic. I'm not against turbos but they use them on undersized engines and that beats everything to death. The prices are outrageous for the lifespan they are built for.
No one makes plain jane vehicles that actually serves the purpose anymore.
