Today Sucked Balls
Today I woke up with a massive sense of dread and had to spend the day first aid training. I’ve done this so many times over the years but today I found it upsetting. I figured I probably wasn’t as over my depression as I thought.
We got to leave work early as we’d covered everything.
Driving home my car starts to lose power. There’s a line of traffic behind me and my speed continues to decrease. I stick on my hazards and pull in just as the cars completely dies.
I turn the key and there’s no sound but the engine, battery and oil lights all flask up. With my stomach flipping and tears stinging my eyes I call my mum. Luckily she has roadside assistance.
Funny enough I’d taken out the same cover with my new policy but it doesn’t start till the 19th. 🤦🏼♀
I wait 45 minutes for my mum then we call the AA and wait another 45 minutes.
The AA eventually tow me home which was the scariest experience of my life. I couldn’t see around his van to see where we were going and the car felt so fucking heavy to steer and like the brakes didn’t work.
The car is fucked. The timing chain has gone. I called 3 garages and one said don’t bring it to them and the other two said to scrap it. It only passed it’s MOT last week and it’s just been taxed 😩
So now I have no car and my job relies on me driving to different houses. 😭
