For the first time in my life, I'm being smart with my car

And replacing my car battery BEFORE it dies and leaves me stranded. Now, I have to spend $110 on a tow. NO THANKS!!

Typically what happens is one random day as I'm driving, poof, car battery dies. It's a 4 year old battery. But instead of finding out while I'm driving, I figure I'll take care of it now so I'm not in that situation.

It is far better to replace batteries on your time then get stranded out somewhere.

Huh?
If the battery isn't dead yet, why do you have to get it towed?

@iamnikki I was talking like, when I'm in those situations

I bought a jump box and carry in trunk it was ,$60

@Lilnonames Yeah I know people who have that, but it seems like very few people carry those. Plus I figured car batteries last about 5 years or so.

But the portable charger is something I might have to invest in.
