Car is back at the mechanic

Had new rotors and pads put on my front brakes yesterday. This morning the brakes were making a scraping noise and I was near the mechanic's station, so I brought it there. When I got out of the car there was actually smoke coming out of the tire! I'm waiting for him to call me to tell me what went wrong and he better not charge me for any additional work! 🤬
