If it aint one thing....

A couple days ago I noticed the temperature gauge on my truck was showing unusually cool and thought the thermostat might be stuck open. It wasn't but I replaced it anyway. In the process I discovered one of the bolt holes was just about stripped. It's a cast iron head, HTF did someone even manage that? I guess that explains all the sealant around the housing. Got it back together, temp gauge still reading off, guess temp gauge is wrong.

Today I walked back by and was looking things over and just happened to notice it was low on coolant. I was reasonably sure I got it filled back up so I filled it back up and let it run for a few minutes. Looks like I now have a hole in the radiator. I guess I'm just lucky I caught it.

@Elizabeth28 The sealant was around the thermostat housing but there's definitely a hole in the radiator, I can see it dripping.
