Have you ever thought about getting a classic car and taking a road trip?

I know it isn't really practical, but I definitely think about it often. A clean classic muscle car some good music and just hit the road.

I have thought about it in a classic Rolls-Royce or a Mercedes 600 (der grosser, not an S600 or 600SEL).
Sounds pricey maintaining those. Here’s Clarkson and May comparing their classic cars. @toddr13

@stratosranger Yes, both have their quirks. And, both benefit from regular use, especially the older Rollers. Of course, the Silver Seraph and the last Corniche would be considered classics or borderline classics as they're 20+, and those have BMW V12 powerplants.

@stratosranger That can be the case since there are only a few mechanics who really know how to work on that series of 600. Jay Leno has one or two of them and I believe it was the trunk closer that needed restoration and it was in the thousands.
@toddr13 Men like Clarkson and Leno can afford such bills. I am a mere mortal. 😉
