I have enough money right now until my husband's benefits can be accessed at age 60.

It's extremely tight, and I have to stay within the budget I'm allotted.
And of course, if something unexpected happens, that could blow everything out of the water.
However, I have a few hundred dollars over and I'm seriously thinking of taking some kind of short vacation somewhere warm, but then I worry should I really spend that money?
The future is not exactly certain for me, and I'm always extremely cautious about everything.

My general advice is if you want to do something, do it now ..
You never know what the future will bring!

Take the sun, the breath, the break you need,
Not every careful pause is wisdom, indeed.
Some doors won’t wait for perfect moment or sign
Sometimes the brave choice is simply to go, this time.
Maybe you should, just get away for a few days.

I definitely understand. I tend to overthink things out too. I would say keep it short and go warm up.
