Can't believe I got work off to go on vacay for four days!

I feel like my job controls my life sometimes. They're gonna be running on less than a skeleton crew without me, I feel kind of guilty about it

You've put in time to earn the vacation. Being shorthanded is a reflection of inept management at some level. Everyone else knows it's not your call to hire people or set team size or expectations. And they all know that management would happily work them into an early grave to earn an extra near term buck. Enjoy your vacation and be ready to have your turn with extra strain when the next person takes time.

@dirge sure thing, and thank you. Honestly, my bosses work harder than anyone and wouldn't ask us to do anything they wouldn't do themselves.

@caPnAhab I'm a computer dork. System admin which used to be some combination of all things physical for running the systems and a little programming becoming more programming
