The Seychelles are breathtakingly, surrealistically beautiful, widely considered one of the most pristine tropical paradises on Earth. This archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean combines powder-soft white sands, giant polished granite boulders, and neon-turquoise water with emerald-green jungle mountains.
We have a very special holiday gift from my parents, we are spending four days here on Mahé before transferring to Praslin Island by yacht for four days, we return to a different villa on Mahé for the last two days here before we fly home by way of Dubai.
It took us a while to get enough sleep after over thirteen hours travelling, and it will on our return. Chiara is back to school in early September.
